“Proof of Concept to Production” starts with our engineering and manufacturing support team. We help our customers determine the manufacturability of their part designs, review the specifications and the material selection. AAM’s team of engineers can take your design as is, help redesign it or just convert it to a format compatible with our design and manufacturing software. We can accept customer CAD files on disk or electronically. We accept IGES, DXF, SolidWorks and CATIA file formats, among others.

Our design capability is supported by:

• CAD/CAM capability, including solid modeling and rendering
• CATIA V5, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, GibbsCAM, full 5-axis and solid surfacing capabilities
• FaroArm Platinum portable CMM equipped with a laser scanning head
• Production Approval Holder for manufacturing of PMA parts
• Aircraft structural and systems design, analysis, fabrication, and testing
• Extensive experience in the support and modification of reciprocating, turboprop and jet aircraft
• Level III Non Destructive Testing (NDT) capability
